Liminal Point on Switch: What the Developer Actually Said
A dated Switch 2 development reply, without turning an old attempt into a confirmed Nintendo release.
A historical attempt, not a release announcement
On December 2, 2025, HideWorks replied in the Steam demo discussion that it had tried bringing the game to Switch 2, had not received Nintendo's approval at that time, and intended to try again the following year.
That statement supports neither “a Switch 2 port is confirmed” nor “a Switch port will never happen.” It also says nothing about the original Switch's performance or compatibility.
What would change this page?
A newer explicit platform announcement or a game-specific Nintendo product page would be useful evidence. The current platform reference therefore keeps Nintendo separate from the confirmed store listings instead of giving it an invented date.
If you encounter a retailer or video claiming a Switch release, compare the exact game title, publisher and publication date. The developer has other games; a console announcement for one of them is not transferable to this one.
